Kentaur Caviar™ comes from the Russian Osetra which swims in the cold, natural currents of the Volga River. Each sturgeon is monitored carefully by the producer and marked with a microchip, which provides such information as growth patterns and genealogy. The nurturing environment is ideal for raising sturgeons that produce the best quality caviar.

Kentaur Caviar™ is a classic taste of high society. Direct ancestors to our Russian Osetras were known to Peter the Great and their descendants continue to inhabit the Volga River, raised in their natural habitat. This is the only region recognized as the official producer of Russian Black Caviar as proclaimed by the Emperor Peter the Great, a designation still recognized by the government of Russia to this day. The rich heritage of Russian Osetra is reflected in the heritage of the Kentaur brand.
