The birth of Kentaur Universal stemmed from the slowly growing awareness that quality luxury goods have become relegated to the stuff of legends. People have heard of caviar and champagne, and lobster dinners, but no longer remember the reason for the excitement over such delicacies.


There are few places that offer the true luxury commodity from the source of its origin.


Knowing this, Kentaur Universal, a family company, was formed with the goal of resurrecting the delicacies from the backdrops of myths and dreams by supplying a genuinely unique product for our customers’ enjoyment and pleasure.
Just like the product we provide, we too have a rich history associated with our family name – Kupetz. The Kupetz, meaning merchant, can be traced back to 14th century Russia when the name of Kupetz was granted as a highly privileged title by the Grand Duke of Moscow to a very select group of people entrusted to provide quality goods. The few people named Kupetz carried the mark of their area of expertise, and played a crucial role in satisfying the demand for goods. Above all else, the Kupetz knew what good food was and how to get it. The crowning treat at their feasts was the precious Russian sturgeon caviar.
